Meet Chef Paul Sturkey. For 20 years Paul has performed as a chef in nationally recognized restaurants. You may have seen him on Good Morning America or DIY, the Do It Yourself Network. Together with his wife and pastry chef Pam, he has operated well-renowned restaurants in Cincinnati. Both Pam and Paul are graduates of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. In 1999, USA Today recognized Pam's signature dessert as the best in the Country. Chef Sturkey came to Suzie "Saucy Mama" Barhyte with an idea. He wanted make his one-of-a-kind house dressing available to gourmands everywhere. Chef Sturkey and our Saucy Mama worked together to translate his hand-made house specialty into a dressing that connoisseurs could buy off the shelf. But something happened in the kitchen. Saucy Mama and Chef Sturkey kept getting good ideas. After perfecting his Creamy Balsmamic Vinaigrette House Dressing, they created a lite version. Their work not done, Chef Sturkey and Saucy Mama didn't leave the kitchen until they had a Creamy Caesar and Herb Ranch too. See all four Sturkey's dressings here Both Chef Sturkey and Suzie are happy with the new partnership. "The Barhyte family saw my vision for taking our dressings to a more natural stage, and then built on it," explains Chef Sturkey. "We have a wonderful working relationship with the Barhytes; Suzie and I understand each other and I admire her company's dedication to working with local farmers to secure fresh, organic ingredients." Chef Sturkey is excited to branch out and have his creations reach a national audience, both young and old. "One of the huge things about our House Dressing is that kids love it, especially as a vegetable dip," says Sturkey. "My own kids eat it on pasta and parents love it because their kids are eating healthy. It's a great value condiment with widespread appeal."
